It’s In The Raisin

We all grew up with what we considered family. This family had you around and taught you a certain lifestyle. During this time you were also making important decisions about your future. Growing up if you felt heard, loved, validated, encouraged to voice your opinion, had guidance but were allowed room to make your own decisions you probably have a decent sense of your value. This doesn’t mean your beliefs weren’t tainted. No childhood is without issues. Most come with generational chains that they become another link on. If you grew up and didn’t feel loved, validated, knew to be seen but not heard you probably found yourself in an adult situaition that you had no idea how to handle correctly. This kind of youth tends to leave little to no confidence into adulthhood. Therefore teaching you your value was little to none. You teach people how to treat you and that is based on how you percieve yourself. It’s not easy but changing the way you think will allow you to find your happy. You deserve it.
