Waking up with a peace and excited for what lies ahead leaves a calming like no other. It is especially wonderful during a trying time. There will always be drama and trauma. Once you realize worry changes nothing but positivity changes everything.
Going over your blessings and accomplishments before bed is one thing that helps. Putting what you are excited about doing the next day beside your bed where its the first thing you see when you wake up. If you work at it before you know it it will be a new habit.
A blessing could be as simple as:
*I got another day
*I have family/friends – I am important and cared for
*I am Intelligent
*I am kind ( in a cruel world) 2 points for that one
A few things I get excited about waking up for:
*I volunteer at a ranch so that excites me
*Maybe a new recipe im going to try that night
*Lunch with a friend
*A movie/show that i had been waiting for
*Of couse date and game nights
It’s whatever motivates you and makes you feel proud of yourself.
Tonight i will go to bed thankful for another day in our home. Blessed i enjoyed time on the lake while i wrote this. I packed all the boxes i had. I’m proud of myself for these things. What am i excited about for tomorrow? My husband and i have a date and i’m gonna boss the packing!
