Hope everyone enjoyed the book reviews last week. Find anything relatable? Have you ever purchased a book to help you with something? Did it help? Do you have a favorite? There are some books that have made such impressions on me i often give them as gifts. All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten (Robert Fulghum), The Five People You Meet In Heaven (Mitch Albom), The Secret (Rhonda Byrne), Love Dare (Stephen Kendrick & Alex Kendrick), Are You There God It’s Me Margaret (Judy Blume) to name a few. Books are supposed to affect, inspire and excite you. Taking you away and at times being a personal therapist in the solitude of your own comfort zone, at your pace. I’m so excited about the response to Friday’s giveaway. The two books i have chosen are ones you will want to pull off the shelf again and again. I’m sure they will be added to my list. “Get Untamed Journal” Author Glennon Doyle & “Burn After Writting” Author Sharon Jones are two thought provoking books. If you are looking to rekindle you and aren’t sure where to start you will know at the end of the read who you are and what you want/need. Through the excercises you will answer questions that are simple but have got forgotten in the day to day rush. You will write letters to yourself and others for past, present and future. Many questions requiring only one word answers or multiple choice so you don’t get frustrated and want to give up. You want to keep turning the pages to see what it will ask of you next. When you have completed you won’t be ready to take on the world (or maybe you will be) but you will have a solid start to the beggining of a blueprint. As I mentioned in last weeks post two of my grandmiracles are doing the “Anxiety in Teens” Author Regine Galanti PhD & “The Mindfulness Workbook” Author Hannah Sherman LCSW. As they journey through i will be sharing the results. If the books are productive when we finish i will be giving them away. Don’t forget to turn in your suggestion for the next book you want me to review. So far “Let That Sh*T Go” Author Monica Sweeney is at the top of the list with “Present, Not Perfect” Author Aimee Chase in second place. All four books:
